WindowFix was deeply honored to contribute to a remarkable project—the creation of this unique boutique condo situated in the vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood of Red Hook. This venture was distinguished from the outset by its innovative and challenging design, setting it apart as a truly one-of-a-kind development.

Our role in this endeavor took on a special dimension as we were tasked with curating and installing the windows for the second floor units which were tailor made.  This undertaking was not just a demonstration of our expertise in window craftsmanship but also a testament to our commitment to delivering a highly personalized end result.

On a fundamental level of this extraordinary residence, we made a purposeful decision to install weight and chain windows from Parrett windows. These oversized archtop windows were more than just functional; they embodied the architect’s vision of flooding the main living space with daylight and framing expansive, breathtaking views. Meticulously crafted with white oak, the windows radiated a classic style that required only a clear lacquer finish to showcase their natural beauty. The windows seamlessly blended with the architectural styling, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the entire space.

For the rear elevation, we selected Marvin Signature Ultimate windows, specifically for their aesthetic appeal and outstanding quality. The finish combined clear lacquer on the interior and Hampton Sage for the exterior. This color scheme perfectly complemented the condo’s palette, adding a cohesive and polished look. Fabricated from Douglas Fir, these Marvin windows had Low E2 Argon gas insulation and exterior aluminum cladding, which ensured durability and energy efficiency while maintaining their spectacular appearance.

Designed as a wet room, for the primary bathroom we once again opted for Marvin Ultimate windows. Given the  humidity level in this room, it was crucial to choose windows that could endure the challenging atmosphere without sacrificing performance or style. The Marvin windows met this challenge effortlessly, providing both natural light and beautiful views in a space where functionality is paramount.

For the remaining areas of the condominium, where a timeless and classic aesthetic was desired, we chose  Optimum.  Specifically, we chose the achitectural steel, Reliant HR4700 model It featured a fully-welded hot-rolled steel option, finished with a Super Durable powder coat.  Featuring a narrow profile, these windows lent a modern yet classic feel to the interior, perfectly echoing the luxurious design of the condo. The secondary bedroom offered stunning views of downtown Brooklyn, bringing an urban charm that added to the overall character of the unit.

This exceptional window installation project became the crowning achievement of this exclusive property. Beyond providing ample ventilation and breathtaking views, the windows added a sense of tranquility to the overall space, allowing residents to fully appreciate the cityscape as well as the serene inner atmosphere.

This is truly a spectacular condominium.  With features that range from the Mexican tile in the dining room and the sunny kitchen to the specially-designed bathrooms and outdoor seating areas. Every element of the design has been carefully considered to create a space that is as singular as it is extraordinary.

We invite you to experience this extraordinary condominium firsthand through a video tour. See for yourself how the thoughtful selection and installation of these bespoke windows have transformed this space into a true sanctuary—where luxury, design, and functionality come together in perfect harmony.
